The room was super cozy with a warm and homely vibe. I instantly felt at ease and could really relax. It was like a comforting hug after a long day exploring.
I wasn't a big fan of the small desk in the room. But hey, that's just me and others might find it handy.

I had an amazing stay at Herons Hideout. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. The property itself was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake. The kitchen was well equipped and the underfloor heating kept the place cozy. The shower was spacious and always had hot water. And the bed.oh, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and waking up to a view of the lake was pure bliss.
Although the beds were a bit small and not as comfortable as I would have liked, it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment.

The lodge was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fireplace which added a touch of romance. the location was perfect, with stunning views of the lake from the large balcony. It was a great spot to enjoy the sunset and relax. the host was friendly and attentive, providing us with some thoughtful treats upon our arrival.
The bedding could have been more suitable for warmer weather, as the duvets were too heavy. the lack of window screening made it difficult to keep the windows open for fresh air without worrying about insects entering the room.

We got great value for our money at Herons Hideout. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a magical sunset view from the patio doors. The location was fabulous, right beside Spring lake with a large sunny balcony. Neil, the host, was friendly and informative, and even provided us with milk, coffee. Highly recommended!
Breakfast items could have been better with lighter options like flat sheets or very light covers to replace the duvets.
